Winter & Spring Activities

In winter and spring, Vail is abuzz with the sounds of ski boots, laughter and outdoor music. As North America's largest single mountain resort, Vail boasts 5,289 acres of legendary terrain that today includes the wide-open trails of the Back Bowls and the naturally-gladed terrain of Blue Sky Basin. While skiing and snowboarding are the activity of choice for many, there are other ways to get your thrills like snowmobiling, snowshoeing, or snow tubing.
